This project was undertaken as part of the application process for an MA in production design. 8 candidates were given a script for one of two films That they were asked not to watch. From the direction in the script candidates were asked to produce a set design; floor plan and elevations; supporting concept work and research; and a scale model for the main location in the script, in this case, Marty’s bar from the Coen Brothers’ ‘Blood Simple’.
